Watch The Girl in Boxcar #3 and answer these questions for Sunday's Chat on September 28...

?? Does the episode set any - PREQUEL, MISSING SCENE, FOLLOW UP - bunnies a bouncing

?? Any of the characters ripe for a VS come back

?? Anything in the episode that is so visual it'd be a real stretch VS wise ...

?? Any favo(u)rite lines crying out to be used again and again in fanfic

?? What on the episode has become canon

?? Does the episode set any - PREQUEL, MISSING SCENE, FOLLOW UP - bunnies a bouncing
- Does the Kid go talk to Deke Corsadine and tell him that Annabelle is all grown up?

?? Any of the characters ripe for a VS come back
- Annabelle – married or not
- Colonel Harper
- another job for the lawyer Breen… but do they trust him?

?? Anything in the episode that is so visual it'd be a real stretch VS wise ...
- Lots of train scenes
- Scenes of Heyes traveling by horse, the men from town on horses and the train

?? Any favo(u)rite lines crying out to be used again and again in fanfic
- “Don’t forget, that’s not $50,000 – that’s our amnesty!”
- Authentic experience

?? What on the episode has become canon
- Kid’s patience and helping damsels in distress
- Kid can be dangerous and curt when he needs to be
- The Kid can have a temper that Heyes calms (about to hit the lawyer)

General Comments
- Why the train at the very beginning?
- Interesting the lack of a greeting and introduction with the lawyer
- Love how Heyes jumped from one horse to another.  Oops, the danger of running a horse last at night.
- They had time to prepare so why didn’t the Kid bring food with him knowing he was going to be on the train?
- Where did the Kid think he was going to get food at a wayside?  Several farmhouses in the area?   Seems more desolate of an area.  And leaving his $50,000?
- Annabelle sure was unprepared with food and warm clothes.
- Hey, I don’t think Heyes had his pants tucked into his boots when asking the man in wagon about seeing his partner
- Tears do get to the boys – Mary Cunningham’s tears worked on Heyes and now Annabelle’s tears are working on the Kid.
- I know a lot of people don’t like the scene where the Kid goes against the Lamberts’ wishes and opens the locked door, but I do.  He’s desperate to find the money and wouldn’t not check it.  He does come across sorry and says he’ll fix the lock before he leaves.  How sad to have that room untouched sine their daughter’s death.  The Lamberts must have had money to have the child’s room decorated like that and with all those toys.
- I absolutely LOVE Heyes’ entrance into the barn during the fighting.  Doesn’t show it, but I bet the Kid was relieved to see his partner.  Or then again, maybe not.  He has to admit he lost the money.
- What’s that look on the Kid’s face as he watches Annabelle leave on the train?  Don’t care for the kissing scene – she is young and they didn’t have that kind of relationship throughout the episode.
