I don’t usually do Self Promotion but, since it’s kind of relative to this site, I thought I’d make an exception this once.
In January 2021, I submitted a monthly challenge story under the topic Absent Friends which I left as an open ended story, and a number of people commented that they were left with a feeling of “what happens next” and hoped for an ending at some point. So, I've finally expanded, and concluded that story, which is posted at https://eleanorward.wixsite.com/asjfics/the-long-road under the new title of The Long Road, should anyone be interested to read it.

Thanks to a touching tale aired on a popular UK TV show, a rare spark of inspiration was lit in my mind, allowing me to write a short(ish) story, which is posted at https://eleanorward.wixsite.com/asjfics/blindsided
