A Man Who Murdered Himself Empty
PostSubject: A Man Who Murdered Himself   A Man Who Murdered Himself Icon_minitimeSat Nov 01, 2014 5:59 pm

Watch A Man Who Murdered Himself and answer these questions for Sunday's Chat on November 2...

1) Does the episode set any - PREQUEL, MISSING SCENE, FOLLOW UP - bunnies a bouncing?

2) Any of the characters ripe for a VS come back?

3) Anything in the episode that is so visual it'd be a real stretch VS-wise ...?

4) Any favo(u)rite lines crying out to be used again and again in fanfic?

5) What on the episode has become canon?

Feel free to post comments in response to the above questions anytime!

I'll be in chat approximately 1-2 (pacific time) since I have somewhere to be at 3.

1) Does the episode set any - PREQUEL, MISSING SCENE, FOLLOW UP - bunnies a bouncing?
- Where are the $2 million in jewels?  Near Devil’s Hole?
- What happened in the saloon, after the hit.

2) Any of the characters ripe for a VS come back?
- Julia
- Mr. Finney from Scotland Yard

3) Anything in the episode that is so visual it'd be a real stretch VS-wise ...?
The Kid driving up to the mine with the jostling supplies.

4) Any favo(u)rite lines crying out to be used again and again in fanfic?
- “Blowed up”
- “Ah Heyes, I told you not to tell me!”

5) What on the episode has become canon?
- The Kid loses the coin tosses just about every time
- Heyes is a great shot, too, but lets his partner take the lead with guns

GENERAL COMMENTS
- Not my favorite episode with the boys separated
- Not the best loading job either – some of the explosives look ready to fall out
- Looks like they are passing Silky’s mansion just when the Kid tells Heyes to stop and about the other job
- Almost seems like a role reversal when they are talking about the job
- LOVE Slim Pickens as the sheriff and the whole scene with the deputy and sheriff
- Real desolate country going to Devil’s Hole like I imagined.
- Never noticed the cabin Heyes rides past just before meeting the gang to talk to them
- LOL.. the dust that comes off Kyle when one of the DHG slaps him on the back
- Cute scene with the horses looking at the Kid, who fell off the wagon thinking it might blow
- Snirt… “No one is who he is, except for me.”  Sure Heyes!
- Wow… What a kiss!
- Love the Kid talking to the horses and running from the wagon “just in case”
- Oh, Mr Finney is questioning how well “Mr Smith” knew the Devil’s Hole Gang
- Love Heyes’ enthusiasm when he found the Indian.  Wondering how they could see so well in the cave.
- Ohh… Heyes is the outlaw leader when he says the party is over and they are going back to town.
- Pete isn’t that tall, but he sure towers over Mr Finney!
- Love the pine tree in town
- Dang, the Kid is filthy!  Imagine telling make-up “Make Ben dirtier!  I want the dirt to fly off him like it does on Dennis (Kyle)”
