| For those of you who knew that I was taking my cat, Milton to the vet today; well it still isn't conclusive. He has lost 2lbs in the last six weeks so there is definitely something wrong and blood work was done. We were hoping it was his thyroid but no such luck. It could be his kidney's so we have him on a low-protein diet now and I'm to take him back in 2 weeks to see if he is gaining weight. If he's not or is still actually loosing weight, then we will have to do an ultrasound to see if there are actually tumors in there that Dr. Wayne couldn't feel. So, here we go. Everybody send out positive vibes that Milton the cat will start to gain weight and that all it is is his kidney's needing a boost! Oh, sorry I missed chat yesterday. I had to work. Hopefully I'll make it next week as I do like to keep in touch! Anymore thoughts about a get together in Seattle this summer? Who knows? Maybe I'll actually be living in the States by then!!! |

| Here's wishing Milton all the best, I know how upsetting it can be. He's obviously in good, caring hands and that will make all the difference to him, as it has throughout his life.

| Keays, sorry to hear Milton isn't feeling well. But, here's hoping it's a temporary thing and he's back to his normal self soon. |

| No, Milton's not in any pain HD, he's just underweight and doesn't really feel well. He still eats and drinks and everything else that goes along with that! I should know in about a week if this new food is helping him or not. I hope so!!! Don't even want to think about how much an ultrasound costs!!! Oh well, the length to which we will go for our beasties. |

| Keays -when my cat had kidney failure he wouldn't eat or drink. Tumors don't sound good, but kidney failure is rough because you have to hydrate the kitty. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you and Milton, and hope it is just temporary . _________________ I read part of it all the way through. Samuel Goldwyn | |

| Just to let everyone know that Milton seems to be doing much better. We went back to the vet on Friday and he has gained a pound so we are going in the right direction. He is looking a lot perkier and his appetite, though always good is now down right pushy. It would appear the problem was his kidneys, so we will have to be keeping an eye on them as he gets older but in the mean time just having him on the low protein diet seems to be enough. Thank goodness we avoided the ultrasound! |

| Keays -- glad to hear Milton is doing better. It is always so stressful when one you love isn't feeling well. Hoping he recovers fully. |

| A pushy appetite is good. Glad the low-protein diet is working. _________________ I read part of it all the way through. Samuel Goldwyn | |
