I totally agree and saw it in my own life. Thanks to patient beta-readers, and beta'ing myself, my writing improved greatly. I also became a supervisor's favorite to beta...I mean proofread his reports, etc.

Thanks for posting this, Ghislaine. The author seems pretty knowledgeable about fan fiction. I'm not sure I agree with her when she said "focusing mostly on young authors writing on fanfiction.net. (Older, more experienced fan-fiction authors tend to prefer the website Archive of Our Own.) don't think that observation is accurate. But hey, as the article also says, what do I know?
