| I heard - from a very reliable source -  that his partner was doing his best to make it to you in time to help you celebrate your birthday. He said, "Curry's in a hurry!" However, it seems that there were just a few eensey weensey, teeny tiny obstacles in Kid's way, but you know how he is; perseverance, his iron will and determination were his companions as he:
Climbed a few hills: 
Took the train: 
Crossed a desert: 
Stopped in Porterville to check in with Lom (but he did NOT play any  ) 
*Note: Ignore that modern-looking female; I think she's from the future
Swam a river: 
Took the stage: 
Eluded a sheriff: 
Found the perfect card: 
Stopped to pick some flowers: 
Found a cake: 
Bought some celebratory balloons: 
He even remembered the bubbly: 
Heyes says the last time he heard from Kid he was in a little town called "Maleeboo" where he'd stopped to watch a couple of fellas play an interesting new game they called tennis:  He said all he had left was to  and  and he'd be on his way again.
