Sadly, Glen Larson has died.  Here's his obituary from The New York Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2014/11/15/us/ap-us-obit-glen-larson.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&module=second-column-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news

It doesn't mention ASJ.  I may have to cancel my subscription! No

Oh sad news!

Rest in Peace Glen.

(The founder of Young Han and Jed's home town, Larson's Creek - gone. Sniff)

Sad news for sure. Incidentally, the obituary in the Chicago Tribune did mention AS&J but only in one line.

Another one from ASJ leaves us...

What a talented man he was. I didn't realize he was behind a lot of the tv shows I watched.

Duh... so that's why Larson's Creek.
