The TV show, not the detective agency! This evening, I accidentally stumbled upon the premiere of a new show called
The Pinkertons, about the detective agency. It's syndicated--filmed in Canada--and has 22 episodes based on actual cases, according to the info I read. The first ep introduces the characters and deals with catching train robbers, although there's more to it than that. There's even a scene where one of the robbers cracks a safe on the train... Angus MacFayden (from
Turn and
Braveheart) stars as Alan Pinkerton and the other stars (Canadian actors I've never heard of though others may have) play his son William and Kate Warne, the first female detective. It's not available in all markets but a webpage lists where and when it can be viewed. Here's the link to the show's website:
