|  Calico, our lovely Challenge Creator, is under the weather and asked me to take on challenge duties this month.
We had three challenges this month:
NM131's story had a sick Kid getting a tracheotomy so he could breathe. Interesting fact that it is one of the oldest surgical procedures. NM131 admitted her story was too long to poll.
Penski's story had poor Heyes in the fetal position because of his appendix. Lucky the young doctor knew all about that new surgery. Penski won last month so cannot poll.
Kid4Ever gave poor Kid a super-size sliver in his gun hand palm - OUCH! She worked really hard to keep her story under 3,000 words to poll, but doesn't want to be a winner by default. She wants to share the yellow bandana with NM131 and Penski.Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry will be visiting ALL of our writers who contributed this month.
Be careful with them and return them in the good shape they arrived.
